Podróż z UNICEF do Nigru, jednego z najbiedniejszych krajów na świecie

Od ponad roku GARDENA wspiera UNICEF, Fundusz Narodów Zjednoczonych na rzecz Dzieci, w jego projektach dotyczących wody, urządzeń sanitarnych i kanalizacji na całym świecie. W kwietniu Joachim Heppler i Heribert Wettels, obaj pracownicy GARDENA, mieli okazję spędzić tydzień w Nigrze, aby poznać pracę UNICEF-u w terenie.

„Ta podróż do jednego z najbiedniejszych krajów na świecie była pełna wrażeń, które pokazały nam wymiar wyzwań. Ale była też pełna interesujących spotkań z oddanymi ludźmi, którzy podejmują te wyzwania i pokazują ścieżkę nadziei” - mówi Heribert Wettels.

Life in Niger poses particular challenges to girls, such as those from the Matameye community in the Maradi region.
